Kismet Kids Daycare and Preschool Terms of Service

Welcome to Kismet Kids Daycare and Preschool! We are excited to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for your child. By contacting or enrolling your child in Kismet Kids and using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service:

1. Enrollment and Admission

1.1. Enrollment in Kismet Kids Daycare and Preschool is open to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Availability is based on class size and staffing.

1.2. Enrollment forms, medical records, and any applicable fees must be completed and submitted prior to your child’s attendance.

1.3. Kismet Kids reserves the right to accept or deny enrollment based on availability, staff-to-child ratios, or any other relevant criteria deemed necessary for the safety and well-being of all children.

2. Fees and Payments

2.1. Tuition fees are due on a monthly basis and must be paid in advance. Failure to pay by the due date may result in the suspension of your child's enrollment.

2.2. A non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of enrollment.

2.3. Late pick-up fees apply if your child is picked up after the scheduled hours of operation or contracted time of care arranged upon enrollment.

2.4. Returned checks or failed payments will incur a service fee.

3. Hours of Operation

3.1. Kismet Kids Daycare and Preschool is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, excluding holidays and emergency closures.

3.2. Any scheduled closures, such as holidays or professional development days, will be communicated in advance.

3.3. In the event of an emergency closure (e.g., weather-related), Kismet Kids will notify parents as soon as possible.

4. Health and Safety

4.1. Parents must provide up-to-date immunization records for their children as required by state law.

4.2. Children showing signs of illness (fever, vomiting, etc.) should be kept at home. If a child becomes ill during the day, parents will be notified and must arrange for immediate pick-up.

4.3. Only life saving medications will be administered. No other form of medication will be given during care hours.

4.4. Kismet Kids follows strict sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.

5. Attendance and Absences

5.1. Parents are required to inform Kismet Kids of planned absences or vacations in advance.

5.2. No refunds or make-up days are provided for absences due to illness, vacations, or other personal reasons.

6. Discipline and Behavior Management

6.1. Kismet Kids uses positive reinforcement and redirection as primary methods of behavior management. Physical punishment is not used under any circumstances.

6.2. Parents will be informed of any significant behavioral concerns, and Kismet Kids reserves the right to dismiss a child from the program if behavioral issues cannot be resolved.

7. Meals and Snacks

7.1. Kismet Kids provides nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with state regulations.

7.2. Parents must inform Kismet Kids of any food allergies or dietary restrictions, and accommodations will be made as appropriate.

7.3 Parents are expected to provide a home packed lunch in a lunch box labeled with your child's name.

8. Parental Responsibilities

8.1. Parents are expected to drop off and pick up their children at the agreed-upon times.

8.2. Parents must provide necessary items for their child, such as extra clothing, diapers, and any required life saving medication, lunch, water bottle, formula or breast milk.

8.3. Communication between parents and staff is encouraged. Kismet Kids uses various methods (newsletters, parent-teacher conferences, daily reports) to keep parents informed of their child’s progress and daily activities.

9. Termination of Services

9.1. Kismet Kids reserves the right to terminate enrollment if any of the terms outlined in this agreement are violated, including but not limited to non-payment of fees, unresolved behavioral issues, or failure to provide required documentation.

9.2. Parents may terminate enrollment with written notice at least 30 days in advance. Any outstanding fees or payments must be settled prior to termination.

10. Confidentiality and Privacy

10.1. Kismet Kids is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all children and their families. Personal information will not be shared with third parties without parental consent unless required by law.

10.2. Photos and videos of children may be taken during daycare activities for internal use. Parents will be asked to provide consent before any media is shared publicly (e.g., on social media).

11. Liability

11.1. Kismet Kids Daycare and Preschool is not liable for any injury or harm that occurs during normal activities, provided that staff followed appropriate safety guidelines and protocols.

11.2. Parents are encouraged to carry personal health insurance for their children.

12. Modifications

12.1. Kismet Kids reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Parents will be notified of any changes, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

By contacting or enrolling your child in Kismet Kids Daycare and Preschool, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms of Service.
